BibleBoat ("App") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

Advertising identifiers (IDFA, GAID)

Contacts, photos, camera, or other sensitive data
Device unique identifiers (UDID, IMEI)

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Retention

Account deletion: All personal data stored on our servers is deleted immediately upon account deletion.
Active accounts: Data is retained for the duration of your membership.
Error logs: Automatically deleted within 90 days of collection.
Legal requirements: Data may be retained as required by applicable laws (e.g., purchase records for 5 years under consumer protection laws).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party service providers to operate the App:

Each provider is prohibited from using personal data beyond the stated purpose and is subject to its own privacy policy.

6. Data Deletion

Process: When you delete your account, all data stored on our servers (Supabase) is immediately deleted, and local data on your device is also cleared.
Method: Electronic data is deleted using methods that prevent recovery.
How to delete: Go to [Profile] > [Delete Account] within the App.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Right to access: Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
Right to deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
Right to restrict processing: Request that we stop processing your personal data.
Account deletion: Delete your account directly within the App. All data is immediately destroyed upon deletion.
Logout: Local learning data on the device is cleared upon logout.

8. Cookies and Tracking

The App does not use cookies.
The App does not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA) and does not track users.
Error monitoring (Sentry) operates only in production and samples 20% of sessions for performance tracking.

9. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If we become aware that a child has provided personal information, we will promptly delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Data Security

TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmission
Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS) for data access control
Token-based authentication (Supabase Anon Key + JWT)
Service Role Keys are never exposed to client applications

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our third-party service providers operate. These transfers are necessary to provide the service and are conducted with appropriate safeguards.
